At this time we are looking to add an Account Director to our Account Services team. The Account Director is responsible for the delivery of quality work that exceeds the client’s needs and helps the client achieve their strategic business goals. You will do this through client relationships, the effective management of your own team, and your ability to collaborate with cross-departmental resources.
You will be responsible for:
Ongoing participation in client brand strategy meetings so that you can communicate the brand strategy to the account team and other cross-functional partners
Proactively staying apprised of current market and competition
Successfully managing projects from implementation to reconciliation to ensure assigned project and programs are completed accurately, on time, and within budget
Ensuring all aspects of program status are communicated as needed
Ensuring excellence in service of day-to-day client deliverable activities to proactively decrease/eliminate challenges
Understanding client needs, providing strategic guidance, and creating opportunities for increased business
Exceeding client expectations is a must. As such we will be looking to you to demonstrate effective and inspiring leadership and a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on HWP’s success. Your effectiveness will depend on your ability to plan and strategize, excellent written and oral communication skills, and effective team management capabilities. We will also be looking for you to support the growth and development of the account team and contribute to internal trainings and initiatives.
In addition, you should have:
Significant experience in professional client relationship management
A background with an agency or other relevant industry
A persuasive and confident approach to programs
Keen attention to detail and financial restraints
Proficiency in Microsoft® Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe® Acrobat)
Strong internet search skills
Ability to learn new content and information
Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmaceutical products
