Director, Sourcing & Procurement

At this time we are looking to add a Director of Sourcing & Procurement to the team. This candidate will serve as an in-house specialist in strategic sourcing and procurement, responsible for standardizing and managing procurement best practices and implementing those practices across the organization to team members who oversee purchasing goods and services.

You will be asked to:

• Develop and implement efficiencies, standardized tools, practices and procedures, ensuring the most effective quotation, RFP, evaluation, and decision-making related to procurement of high-ticket services and products
• Lead development and execution of a performance-driven supplier and independent contractor management process, including a database of resources available and structured feedback as to user experience and outcomes
• Support efforts to negotiate competitive contractual terms by identifying areas for negotiation and using marketplace and benchmarking information

It will be important for the candidate to also ensure knowledge transfer to those involved in negotiating terms and cost of goods and services.

We are looking for someone with 4 to 7 years' experience in procurement, setting procurement strategies, and improving terms and conditions. You will be successful if you have demonstrated excellent negotiation skills and superb communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior and executive management.
